About the Role
HireKraft LLC, a leader in SAP staffing with over 20 years of expertise, seeks an experienced SAP CO consultant to support an SAP S/4HANA implementation for our client, a global manufacturing and technology company.
This role demands in-depth SAP CO expertise and hands-on MM integration experience. While the role is predominantly remote, periodic on-site collaboration in Braunschweig/Salzgitter ensures alignment with project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Cost Management: Perform material and manufacturing cost analysis, including creating cost rates and variance analysis to identify optimization opportunities.
- Manufacturing Accounting: Analyze fixed and overhead costs, ensuring accurate allocation and impact assessment for production costing.
- Integration Management: Ensure seamless coupling of quantity and value flows between logistics and finance in SAP S/4HANA.
- Configuration Expertise: Implement and customize cost accounting processes, including configuring SAP CO modules (e.g., CO-PC, CO-OM, Material Ledger).
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to define, implement, and optimize cost accounting requirements and workflows.
- Reporting and Insights: Utilize SAP and external BI tools to create reports that provide actionable insights for decision-making.
- Training and Support: Deliver training sessions and guidance to teams, enhancing their use of SAP functionalities related to cost and manufacturing accounting.
Your Profile
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in material or manufacturing cost accounting, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Extensive experience with SAP S/4HANA, focusing on CO (Controlling) and MM (Materials Management) modules.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in configuring SAP CO modules (e.g., CO-PC, CO-OM) for costing, allocation, variance analysis, and Material Ledger functionalities.
- Strong understanding of SAP-MM processes, including inventory valuation and integration with financial workflows.
Soft Skills:
- Analytical Thinker: Able to interpret complex cost data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Effective Communicator: Skilled at engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
